Some of what I've learned in the past 40 years....

- When you're little, being held and hugged is the best feeling there is.
- Seeing your daddy cry, breaks your heart.
- Your parents are your world and what they say or do to you can create who you become.
- When your friends or even people that aren't your friends call you names, it kills you inside.
- Coming home from school and opening the door to the smell of baking is awesome.
- Having a best friend makes you feel worthy.
- Watching that best friend make another best friend, makes you feel like there is a hole in
your stomach.
- Being accepted makes you feel so good...like you matter.
- Hearing babies cry, makes you feel useless.
- Time not presents are what mattered at Christmas.
- Money does not buy happiness - it only buys misery.
- School and peer pressure is one of the hardest times of your life.
- Being an adult is one of the hardest times of your life.
- Being a parent is one of the hardest times of your life.
- Growing old is one of the hardest times of your life.
- Doing the above 4 without Jesus, makes for the most miserable and empty time of your life.
- Living in sin, dancing in bars, making out with guys is a useless waste of time and if you can't
see it, I'm sorry.
- Falling in love is amazing.
- The first real kiss is something you never forget - don't waste it on someone you won't see a
year later.
- Warm fuzzies don't last forever but love grows deeper every year with the right man.
- You feel like a princess on your wedding day.
- You feel like you're in a dream when you are engaged.
- When you're first married, you can feel scared and feel like you don't know who you are.
- Becoming a Christian and finding Jesus gives you awesome butterflies.
- Knowing that he is calling you back from a place you didn't want to be, makes you feel so loved.
- Sometimes, when you need it most, the thoughts of people that have died in your life comfort
you and make you not miss them so much....for a time.
- The birth of your children is unspeakable joy!
- Baby smiles melt your heart.
- Cuddles with your children fill you with total warmth and joy.
- There is not a harder but more rewarding job in the world than being a parent.
- There is not a better smell in the world than a newborn baby.
- You show your age by your attitude not your birth certificate.
- Friends don't suck the life out of you by asking too much of you.
- Friends don't expect you to do everything they ask of you because you're a Christian.
- Nothing makes you feel more proud than to see your children grow in their faith with Jesus.
- Being with someone when they die is an honour and, though heart breaking, can be a beautiful
experience watching them let go from this world into the arms of Jesus.
- Even with death, the smiles still come the next day because of the grace of God.
- Nothing makes you more weepy than seeing a child give their life to Jesus.
- Even though you may not see big miracles, they are there and they happen...is it because we
don't appreciate, acknowledge or affirm the little miracles?
-Affirmation and happiness is the best pay, not money.
- It is an honour and a priviledge to worship God and because we were created to do it, if you
don't enjoy it, you're not doing it right.
- And lastly, the best dancer for dancing and audience for talking and singing to
is Jesus Christ. He'll never change partners during a dance or step on your feet
and he'll never not listen or boo you when you sing.
